I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gästehaus Waltl in the heart of Krimml, and it truly felt like a hidden gem! The friendly staff greeted us warmly, making check-in a breeze, and I was delighted to find our room featured a lovely balcony with stunning views of the mountains - perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. The highlight was absolutely the in-house brewery; after a intense day of hiking around the breathtaking Krimmler Wasserfälle, the local brews with dinner were simply divine. We took advantage of the included summer card, allowing us free access to numerous attractions in the area, including the magnificent Grossglockner scenic road - a must-see for any nature enthusiast like myself. And being just a short walk from the waterfalls made it so easy to enjoy these natural wonders without any stress. I can't recommend Gästehaus Waltl enough! Whether you're a fellow nature lover, traveling with friends, or just seeking a cozy retreat, this is the perfect base to explore the beautiful surroundings. I'll definitely be back!
